Plucky Chickens! is a wacky and joyful 2D platformer with vibrant pixel-styled visuals supplemented with retro and happy tunes.

It may not be obvious, so I'll let you in on it here: to win the game you have to complete all six levels. Whether you select from the level selection menu or press the play button, reaching the end of all six levels at least once will grant you the win screen. Be careful, though. Upon death, you will lose your progress and have to retry the levels you've done previously; this means a successful run requires you to complete all six levels without dying (yep! You need to do a 'no death' run). But don't worry. For every 5 oranges you collect, you will gain an extra life, that is... if you've lost one already. However, if you happen to collect 5 oranges and are already at the maximum amount of lives (which is 3), then you won't be granted that extra life. As long as you don't lose all three, you should be good. At that point though, you'd have to restart. And we don't want that. So be careful with your jumps, and avoid the chickens and spikes!

Can you make it all the way through without losing a single life + collecting all the oranges? Now that's a challenge I'd like to see get done.

Be sure to stay tuned for updates!

Important Note:

Once you've pressed the play button or one of the level buttons in the main menu you might experience a major lag spike. Don't worry! The game's not broken (at least I think...), just give it a few seconds and it'll be back to normal. As for what might be causing this issue, I'm not sure. I think it could be how I configured the camera limits when following the player...
